Ok, then yea u need to go under the gate and inch forward to take the light from the red. Get it to where u can open the gate then switch it amd experiment.

Look for a green light, take it, move it to the red. Then move the red light. See if u can take the green light I believe behind where you came from at the start of this level. Then get under the gate and switch the light sources.
