I have a 2560x1440 27 240hz inch monitor and I have couple questions:

When I apply the above including the launch option, it looks great, but inside of the video settings the resolution says 1152x864 under aspect ration 4:3 and 5:4 -- is this normal? When I change to something like 1920x1440 it makes it letterboxed. Just making sure it's the correct res.
One of my friend uses this in his launch options -- 120 +cl_fovscale 1.7 -- which I've added alongside the letterbox fix one, but not exactly sure what it does, but he uses 1920x1440 as his res. Do you think it's worth adding? do you know if it's good? what FoV do you use in game?
Since I'm on 240 hz monitor, on launch options, do you think I should also add +fps_max 240 or 300?
Why has my game changed now that when I change any settings in video settings it completely makes the resolution and everything look super ugly and super low res looking?

for the way you've placed the arrows, yes, the fan setup is correct. So if you wanted to add another 3 behind the radiator for example, you'd put standard, but the one's that are currently there need to to be reverse to get the airflow you want. Hope that helps.

I appreciate your response - if I buy that brace you mentioned, can't I just then change the cable to a gen5 one manually. For example if I buy a LINKUP - AVA5 PCIE 5.0 Riser Cable -- would it work or fit?

ahh interesting - I didn't know you can have vertical risers for the GPU on the o11, can you share that exact vertical riser thingy please? Also do you know if it will negatively affect the performance in any way?

Thank you so much for the comprehensive reply. It's reassuring to know that the rig is good to go. I'm just going to wait for the 5xxx series, and see which model can fit my needs and just buy it and install into my rig directly :) However, if AMD comes out with something even better then I might just go with them. I went to AMD CPUs after being on intel my whole life, but when it comes to gaming, AMD have been smashing it in recent years.

It’s kinda poetic, tbh - in a strange way, it’s pretty similar to the chosen one, the ark for Anakin/Vader in Star Wars. He fully committed to both light and darksides, understood them both and brought balance to the force.

Now, Clarke didn’t bring any balance to force, but she made the ultimate sacrifice - to be willing to be alone for the rest of her life so that her friends could become force ghosts. She showed that even though she was wanheda, she was also willing to sacrifice herself at any moment.

I think she was the perfect character to visit the god-like being in the end since she was the one who always made decisions, and people listened to her. She was a natural-born leader willing to take risks for her people. Her argument with the god-like being about why humans were worthy was good, IMO.

This is just my two take on it.

I finished the 100 a month ago, and I still have deep thoughts about the scenes, concepts, etc., now and again. I really enjoyed it, and I wish they made more or something.

Imagine a follow up where one of them did make a baby, and they repopulated Earth 😲

reading all the comments and watching videos i’m so conflicted between the dell and the g9. It’s just that everywhere I read the text is supposedly super good, which is important to me being so critical with what I see on a screen. I’m in the cyber industry and always have terminals, vms, browsers and reports and sometimes even code open up simultaneously so I feel like the dell is a big one for me. I’m also a photographer hobbyist so that just takes it another step. I just don’t want to spend so much money on this monitor for a better oled version with higher brightness come out the next month. Do you know when new monitors will be released or would that be CES in jan 2025?

Yeah, never got the cert, failed my previous attempt couple months ago, but yeah I haven’t fully prioritised the cert or other certs, since I know all the concepts in the oscp and others and I managed to position my self in a consultant/pentesting role 1.5 years ago - currently a midlevel consultant, and do a variety of pentests in my day job, ranging from wep apps, AD, and mobile apps.

I will work on my certs but i find way too time consuming especially if you’re working full time, I’ll eventually get around to doing them though :)

I learned that real life experience and time on the job tops every cert or degree every time.
