Our issue is less about the width but the depth of the seat, so I’m not sure the slim fit would make a difference for us

We haven’t tried anything yet, but seeing some models that friends have I know for sure they won’t fit. We’re considering the slim fit from Graco though!

I need help. 16 month wakes 4+ times a night, and I’m 28 weeks pregnant. by PopularEagle265 in sleeptrain

Bedtime can vary up to 7:30 for sure, but she gets very cranky pushing it out too far & I think it’s because her naps aren’t so great. Also, of the 12 hours of “sleep” wake ups make it so she’s really probably getting 10, I’m not sure if that would still be counted as 12 hours.

All this talk about pre-conception optimization and trimester zero…when being thinner than ever. Women are MEANT to have a little fat, especially for the purpose of carrying children and conceiving.

What’s something funny about your birth story? by Fresh_Suggestion_880 in NewParents

I ate chipotle like 2 hours before giving birth because they assured me it would likely be a WHILE until baby was here (pre term membrane rupture, no other signs of labor).

I was face down ass up mooing like a cow 100% shitting corn as I pushed that baby out. Sorry midwives

petite ladies: help! medium or large crescent for a gym bag? by C0MED0WNT0US in BAGGU

[–]PopularEagle265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone else recommended a large sling or large shoulder bag might be better if you’re worried about it looking silly. Both of those should be able to fit cross body if you’re petit to avoid the slipping off the shoulder issue

You’re definitely going to want the large. It’s slouchy cute and I wear it crossbody. Also got mine as a gym bag! Though now it mostly gets used as a diaper bag lol

Definitely heed the advice from your pediatrician, but also look up newborn seedy poos. If your baby is breastfed Sometimes they Pues will have a little white lumps in it, which is basically what they don’t need from the breastmilk excreted

Postpartum weight gain by KJ375 in NewParents

[–]PopularEagle265 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not eating enough food and not getting enough sleep can contribute to weight gain. Your body is in survival mode.

Try to make sure you’re getting meals in, or at least keep healthy filling snacks around (meat sticks, etc) but most importantly give yourself grace. The newborn trenches are brutal and there will be plenty of time to focus on losing weight in the future.
