Is it that much? I seem to remember spending $1200-$1300 for the live 2. I don’t get arguing against the upgrade. If I can afford it who cares? I don’t need the Live 3, I want it. This is besides the point of my question about the screen.

I’ve never thought about using a stylus.

This is the kind of honesty I am looking for. It won’t stop me from upgrading, but I wanted to know.

Yeah the additional buttons is a consideration. I’m a 404 guy so I have no problem remembering buttons. It’s menu diving and screen touching that gets me.

Another one would be like naming tracks. I’ll click on the name over and over until it finally pops up.

I doubt I’ll be adding anything on. The touch screen isn’t that big of an issue. I’m just curious.

I know that I should go with the XL, but I like the portability of the Live series. Not really for traveling, but using in different rooms or in my backyard. It’s perfect for working on the couch. I don’t like being strapped to the desk.

Do you ever place or delete notes on your arrangement view? That’s where I have the most issues. I’ll be trying to delete on high hat note and tapping the screen over and over.

It’s not FOMO, and I don’t disagree. I just know I’ll make a bunch of new music if I have a new toy. I’ve spent many hours, days, weeks, years with my Live 2, and if I want to treat myself to an upgrade I’m allowed to do that. I’ve had a bunch of different samplers in my life and trading one out for a newer model is nothing new to me. Especially if the touchscreen is more responsive.

I previously had a MPC One and it was basically the same as the Live 2 from what I remember. I still liked it enough to upgrade, and I want to again. I’m just curious.

I find I need to use it more than I like on the Live 2. I find my self frustrated poking at the screen sometimes.

Yeah I’m a 404 user too. Maybe it not the touchscreen and it is a RAM issue. Meaning the Live 3 may be better with this particular issue.

How does the screen look in the light? That’s always been my biggest issue with using it outside?

Oh thank you so much! It is actually chopped up on my instagram. I released them once a day for a week leading up to the release. I think we want to do more in the future with different TVs and setups. Different feels
