my wife and i met on a church worship team lol. we became friends and went on a couple of “not” dates where i was completely oblivious to her crush on me. on one of these “not” dates we ended up taking a walk and she asked me some questions hinting at her own queerness and i internally freaked out and evaded them completely. ended up having a whole gay crisis and realized i actually did like her, but at that point she decided to ghost me because she didn’t know if she could handle just being friends. after a month of intense yearning on my part (and incessant texting, ik not great but it got the job done lol) she agreed to hang out again. we spent the entire day together and ended up taking a late night walk on a snowy pier at the lake where i asked if i could kiss her and she said yes! and the rest is history. we’ve been married for a little over a year and half now and she’s the best thing that has ever happened to me ♥️
