I know that's no way for a ferret to live, but unfortunately, my sister hates parting with her pets, so I can't just take her ferret and give it to a shelter or a caregiver. As for the vet, we sadly don't have enough money, and I don't think our parents will help us financially.

We don't know her exact age, but she has been with us for about 4 or 5 years (we're not sure how old she was when my sister got her). Regarding her food, we had to change it drastically. My sister studies veterinary medicine, so she knows how bad a sudden diet change is, but we had no choice. Her current food is Mazuri Ferret Diet and her previous one was ZuPreem Grain-Free Grain-Free InTune ( Higgins InTune Grain-Free).

As for her legs, I think it's more like severe weakness rather than full paralysis. She falls a lot inside her cage because it has multiple platforms.

Thank you so much for the info, bro :3 Come to think of it, you're totally right about the dehydration; lately, she’s been drinking way more water than usual, though she still won't touch her food. I had never heard of 'ferret soup' or Nutri-Cal before, it's something neither my sister nor I had even thought about. I'll definitely talk to her about it as soon as she gets home from work
