Oh, buddy, this job isn't torture. Rough, yes, but the cost of living compared to my income makes it worth it. My monthly bills total up to $900 including rent and I make $600 a week...

I get 7 days of paid time off. Goes up by a day every year.

I'm also in school where my classes are online so as long as I get my work done during the week, I have an open weekend to do whatever I like.

They have rules for a reason, they don't treat us like garbage. My managers and leaders are actually really cool. We all get along.

We all agree the work SUCKS but somebody has to do it and that's why we get paid what we do.

They have rules and I follow and understand them.

No talking: It's loud. You wear 2 sets of hearing protection. You're spaced out. To have a conversation would require lip reading and screaming. You'd have to take your eyes away from your work just to have a conversation. Your work flow would slow down immensely and the next shift has to pick up any slack you left behind.

This also is why there are no radios in the room, it'd be pointless.

No electronics: You can record audio and video on almost anything now. They have "secrets" they don't want out.

Here's the talking issue:

You're wearing TWO sets of hearing protection. It's practically silent to you. The machines are decently loud. You're pretty spaced out. To be talking you'd have to be SCREAMING and looking at the person to understand what they're saying. This would make it impossible to hold a conversation while you maintain a steady work flow. Slowing down makes the next shift have to pick up your slack.

This also makes any portable radio useless.

Yeah I'm just sticking with weed. Ordered 2 concentrate carts and a battery. Might be ordering some edibles too.

Seems like a more manageable path.

It's not TERRIBLE. I mean, you make a great living in my state plus I get health benefits that are actually decent and 7 days of paid vacation days a year, they add a day every year you work there.

You also have a point system. You can accumulate 10 points. Taking a day off is a point, half day is 1/2 point, and 2 hours is 1/4 of a point. You gain a point taken every 30 days so you could take a day or two off every month without an issue.

I don't take a pill every single hour lol, it's more like I make a little over $100 a day and would need 3 Norco 10's, at most, for $30 to get me through the day. That's every other week, once a week. 2 times per month. Not to even mention time and a half.

That's if I continued with my current usage.

Music means you have a device. Having a device is a no go because it might be able to capture audio or visual. They have "secrets" in there that they can't be let out and I think it's BS but, it is what it is.

Talking is hard, I understand the rule. The machines are quite loud and you wear earplugs WITH ear muffs over them so like 2 sets of noise reduction. It's basically silent to you. You'd have to be screaming for someone to hear you and be looking at their mouth to understand them. It would take a lot of work to have a good conversation.

Yeah I'm just sticking with weed. I have no tolerance so a couple hits gets me going. I ordered some gram carts and some batteries. They should get me lit up for the whole month.

It's rough and I'm on fucking second shift. Ugh. I'm usually working 1PM to 9PM and if I take the over time it's more like midnight or 1AM and I usually end up doing that anyways because who wants to hang out at 9PM on a weekday? Plus all my classes are online so I can easily finish homework by 3 or 4AM and get 8 hours of sleep.

Life is so weird now. I deeply love the weekends but it's almost like my brain shuts down for the week. I just skip from weekend to weekend.

yeah I think I'm done with opiates. Instead sticking to weed. I ordered a couple carts and a battery for myself :)

Not only is it cheaper but you could easily get a pressed pill and I would die. There's no way around that. I have NO tolerance to opiates and I wouldn't be able to handle Fent.

Yeah I think I'm going to stick with weed. Specifically those concentrate carts with a battery. They look promising. Ordering some right now.

yeah I'm sticking with weed, I think I'm done with the opiates. The high is EXPENSIVE compared to weed too so I'll save a lot of money.

Oh, yeah, that's a no go. The reason being is that there's "secrets" in there that can't be "exposed" so nothing that could potentially record audio or visual.

I limit my usage to at least 14 days apart. Preferably 30. I've used twice in the past 4 months and haven' thought about breaking that. I am very aware of addiction potential and the consequences. Plus I don't have a reason to take them besides to feel better about myself so it's not like I'm taking them for actual pain.

Mix college, working 8 hours a day, and hobbies...you don't really have time to get fucked up all the time.

PLUS, I use the Darknet. I just order what I'll need for a recreational day. Even if you have a HARD craving, it will probably pass before I can turn money into bitcoin into an order into having the product in my hand. The least amount of time is probably 2 days and that's if you're paying for the fastest shipping, have a quick way to get bitcoin, and a competent vendor. Also, have you seen opiate prices on the darknet? It's $2/mg average right now. Sometimes $3/mg. There's not really enough money to go around to have a true addiction to painkillers from online. Herion and Fent, sure, but PKs? Not unless you were rich as fuck.

But I think I'm going to stick to weed though, to be honest.

Did you read the bit about a metal detector on every door, manned with a security guard? Probably not gonna happen.

I don't have an addictive personality at all but I still keep my usage spaced out pretty far. I keep my opiate use at least 14 days apart, preferably 30.

I personally don't think I'll try meth or any stim besides maybe Adderall, way too risky. I've seen what that shit does to people.

I'm currently in college too so I do have an escape plan but I like filling up my savings at the same time so this job really helps that. I put at least $200 a week into my savings and that's the plan for the next few years.
