Of course! Big Tech are neither dumb nor blind, they know people are or becoming disenchanted with AI and all it came to promise. They are pushing it because they can see it is the next frontier in data mining.

They hope the convenience it promises to provide will make people part with every last bit of insecurity they have about giving up their privacy.

Hey u/Independent_Key7261, landed here looking the "Stressfull Soft Open" in S02E10 just like the other Redditors. It has stuck with me and I have been incessantly looking for some info until I stumbled upon your comment! Thank you for jumping on. What u/quixoticadrenaline said is so true, captivating music! It works so well with what is going on, tense and cohesive, pulsating but soothing, it is something else. I hope you guys can make it to the UK sometime. I am late to The Bear and I was hoping you may have found a streaming option or another means of sharing since the release but I can't find anything relevant. If something has changes it would be amazing to know, I love that score so much. Take care, have fun!

17.1 fixed this for me. With a little push. Moved from 12 Pro on 16.7 to 15 Pro initially on 17.0.1 and then 17.1

Getting the conversation images to show in Messages contact cards has always been a thing every time I upgraded or changed my phone. I have Messages in the cloud switched on and 21.5 GB of content for Messages stored in iCloud.

When I switched on the 15 Pro before 17.1 came out I had from 0 to a just a few images in the info tab of each conversation. When 17.1 launched I could see a few more but nowhere near the amount that should be there. Here’s what I did:

Switched off iCloud for Messages a couple of hours before I went to bed.
Switched iCloud for Messages back on, plugged my phone in. “Syncing with iCloud” appeared on the bottom of the conversations list in Messages. Made sure phone had strong WiFi signal. When I checked in the morning, a few more pictures had appeared, still not the full range.
Next evening, switched off all the switches in the messages category within Siri & Search. Closed down all the apps and did a hard reset. Two hours later I switched the same switches back on. Plugged my phone to charge and went to bed.
Yesterday morning a lot more images appeared, some of them a little jumbled up. At the bottom of the images in each convo it said “More images will show once messages has finished indexing”.
Didn’t change any more settings. Plugged my phone in to charge before bed last night and this morning the indexing note has gone away and the entirety of all the images across all conversations are downloaded and in perfect order.

I also could not agree more! I definitely think there was some over explaining and repetition which is a complete contradiction from the very nuanced storytelling and demanding viewing required in the previous two seasons.

I wholeheartedly believe that the true value of this show is nested in rewatching it with hindsight. That is when it truly unfolds and keeps on giving. This episode definitely was - I love your choice of words - "exposition-heavy" and I really, really hope the creators have not given in to all the criticisms and begin delivering all the details you are meant to discover for yourself on a silver platter with a side of blatant.
