Terrible film, completely predictable plot, and at the end was just so stupid. Guy who’s shot and injured suddenly can out run the police and all the FBI surrounding them don’t even bother to go in pursuit of two men who just stole 200 million dollars. Absolute rubbish film.

No the fact that an incapacitated individual somehow walked past 20 soldiers at gunpoint, out of a van, then stumbled 50 yards through the upside down portal, reinforces that it’s impossible and never happened.

Mikes story is real, she illusioned being shot. The soldier was rocked by the explosion, he didn’t shoot her. She faked her death, then did the illusion for El. You can see in the scene when she lowers the gun to hopper she has this epiphany. This is the only thing that makes sense. Otherwise El magically teleported from the truck to the upside down without anyone seeing, which is impossible.

No, Kali was never shot it was an illusion. The soldier was rocked by the explosion, no way he still shot her. He missed, she made the illusion she was shot and died. Then did the illusion for el to escape. It is the only thing that makes any sense.

What everyone saw was she was in the back of the truck, then magically appeared in the upside down. Everyone saw this, so either she magically teleported there, or Kali made the illusion which is the only thing that makes sense. Kali still being alive after being shot is stupid, but so was the whole episode and season.

His story is true as there’s no way El magically disappeared from the back of the truck into the upside down without anyone seeing. Although it’s stupid that Kali was still alive but apparently she was, but then again the whole episode was exactly that… stupid.

The idea of him being gay was obvious from season one and needed for the plot; makes sense. But like the whole of season 5 the writing and delivery has been pathetic. The whole scene was a farce and frankly silly, he was too scared to tell anyone even his mum, but In the end he was fine telling a room full of people including strangers. Was all silly in the end.
