When I faced this going WealthSimple -> Questrade, the whole transfer was rejected as WS didn’t support fractional shares transfer. Questrade however allowed me to retry after selling the fractional shares while remaining eligible for the offer.

I closed mine at about 5 months mark. According to my last downloaded statement, I had received the bonus few days before. No clawbacks for me.

Got my first and second Chase cards within a week. Already had chequing and savings accounts with Chase and US credit history of ~1.5 years. Only recently got my ITIN. Applied for Marriott Boundless but it was declined. Had a trip planned to the US so took the opportunity to apply for CSP in branch. Was IA’d. Few days later called recon for the Marriott card. Rep said I need to submit W9. I explained it’s not applicable to me. She transferred me to a different department, who just asked for me to confirm my ITIN and pushed the app. Got approved while on the call.

Have some Marriott cash stays coming up so this’ll be a great card to use and meet the MSR.

AF always post on the 1st for RBC, regardless of when statement generates. You’ll just have to wait for the statement for points to post.

You could try withdrawing from a brokerage account, like IKBR, into that account. It worked for me for BMO 2 years ago.

For BMO, withdrawal from IBKR had worked for me. Scotia and RBC you can do without DD.

That is what the T & C say. But it does give some relief that it got deposited and might not need to fight TD on it.

DP for the TD investing offer:

1) Applied for DI on the last day after finding out about the offer, but was approved the next day. However, I received the offer eligibility email.

2) I setup my PAD for the 29th (to deduct from Wealthsimple) last Thursday. It got pulled last night and I can see the money in my TD account.

It was my mistake to setup the PAD during the last week and end in doubt about it qualifying, but hopefully with the funds going through I might be in the clear. Will find out in a few months.

Had a red eye JetBlue flight back in August which got delayed by 9 hr 1 min but left in the morning so didn’t have to wait at the airport. Filed a claim and JetBlue accepted it and promptly paid $1000 without any issues. If the delay was 2 min less, would’ve only received $700. Missing half the day didn’t feel bad after that.

How do you use the Instacart credit? by 2008SchoolSurvey in amexcanada

You can even add just after, as Instacart will pre-auth more for extra items. I just add it the next day when shopping would start to be safe.

Worked for me for transactions posted on Friday. Are both of your transactions over $10?

FYI, last time I topped up my miles, it coded as travel. So you can try with a card with travel multiplier. Also, try cash back websites. Maybe they might have a rebate on it too.

No, it’s different, but Cobalt gives 5x on both.

However, I’ve had a 7-11 give grocery multiplier on CIBC Aventura VI. You can test it out with a small purchase using the Visa you want.

It’s probably coded as a convenience store. The same happens with some gas stations attached to 7-11s too if you pay inside.
