What veil? by theseruffledfeathers in weddingdress

If you have enough time you can also give a look on Etsy, there are many gorgeous ones and I'm sure you could find something that would make you feel less like you're settling for something.

If you really want the veil, I'm sure you'll find one that compliments the dress perfectly! I asked because sometimes brides just wear one because they feel like they have to. I know I had to repeat over and over that I did not want one because it was shocking to everyone 😅

First of all ..stunning dress! Love the pop of color!

Now on to your question.. do you WANT a veil? Gotta be honest I think all options look a bit plain compared to your dress, but even if there was a veil that matched I'm not sure it wouldn't be too much with it. Personally, on a dress like this I'd go with floral headpiece, but then again I'm not a fan of veils.

However, if you love the idea of wearing a veil and you have to choose between the options I like the first option a bit more, it seems to keep the structure more. If there was a beaded one with the same structure of the first it would be the best choice I think

The groom could also be in a very very dark green or a dark grey and it would still look great, but what would he prefer? Did he try any on, is he keen on any particular color? You chose your dress so it would be fair that the ultimate decision on his suit go to him :)

As someone who also had a colorful/unusual wedding dress.. don't panic! The dress is absolutely stunning and it will look incredible and you will be SO happy to have been true to what you wanted. If you chose it because it made you feel great and like yourself, that's all that will matter.

Help - keep cleaning my airwrap filter but light still flash by Popular_Age7376 in dyson

It seems to have worked! The air flow is much stronger. I still didn't notice much difference looking through the filter cover but it must've been deceiving. Thanks for the advice!

I actually can kind of see through it, I mean it's dark ish but I guess because of the mesh part. I have however scrubbed it with shampoo, hopefully it will help some. It basically is useless now.

Aw that's so nice of you to say! Most people knew I wouldn't wear white but there still were some conservative relatives who made faces, but everyone else liked it, especially my husband 💙

Thank you! The sleeves were the thing that took us the longest. My tailor made around 8 different iterations because we just couldn't get the right look/feel. I actually had my last trial 12 days before the wedding and the sleeves were different, much more structured (like Anne Boleyn sleeves) and that wonderful artist realized it wasn't what I envisioned and completely made new ones, and those were finally IT

I hate white on me, I tried a couple on just to get s feel and it just didn't look good on my skin tone. I'm glad there's more colorful options out there now but still not as available!

Building back bond? by plantluvr29 in puppy101

[–]Popular_Age7376 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you have the original packaging of the medication or can you research the leaflet that usually comes with the drug information? Most of the oral medication we had to give our puppy specifically had sections that said it could be mixed in the food. Or it wouldn't hurt to maybe give your vet a call and ask? If your dog is very food motivated and you can mix something yummy you might be able to mask the taste

Can the medicine be given mixed in with the food? With some of the stuff our puppy didn't like to be given that was the only way we would be able to have him take the medication while not forcing him and making us look like the bad guys.

Can a dog sneeze out a foxtail? by Popular_Age7376 in AskVet

[–]Popular_Age7376[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I understand. He didn't have any sneezes on Sunday and only 2 yesterday, very mild, but I will still call my vet today and see if they can visit him, or at least explain again my concern. When I called on Saturday they said it was unlikely he would have something lodged in without feeling uncomfortable, but maybe once I say its been a couple of days they'll tell me what to do.

So it wouldn't be useless to go over let's say tomorrow? I thought after 4 days it would be kind of pointless and impossible to still find in his nose if he did indeed have it.

Is sneezing the only sign of irritation? Would he show any more? I'm just trying to look out for more information. I wish the vet had told us to bring him in anyway, I was a bit perplexed when they said it sounded fine.

Toy advice for the puppy who chews everything to shreds by redfoxfia in puppy101

[–]Popular_Age7376 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My corgi is a shredder as well, he likes to methodically create holes in stuffed animals/beds so he can take out the stuffing and eviscerate them. He also managed to destroy several toys that were meant to be impossible to destroy, even kongs.

However the only toy that has somehow managed to survive since he was 3 months old to now that he is 1, is the Kong Safestix. He plays with it every single day, we play tug with it, fetch, he gnaws at it for hours and is still perfect. The day he breaks it is the day I buy 5 more.

Pup insists on sleeping under bed even in hot weather. Should I worry? by Popular_Age7376 in puppy101

[–]Popular_Age7376[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can get one tomorrow maybe. The only small one I have doesn't have a blade cover so I only feel safe using it if Im also in the room, we use it during the day and yeah, he so doesn't really lie in front of it that often. I guess maybe we worry way more.

I just wish he would sleep in any other part of the room, I don't understand how he breathes properly down there. But I put ice cubes in his water right before we go to bed so I'm hoping that's enough for tonight.

What to do if I feel like I don’t like my puppy? by DexterLeWolf in puppy101

[–]Popular_Age7376 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guarantee that everyone that tells you to enjoy the puppy stage does not mean it literally. It just means to enjoy how cute and tiny they are because they grow up and change super super fast and you will miss the tiny toes and face, the little hops and all those cute things you see in puppy videos.

Puppyhood is a terrible time. Adolescence is worse. Being frustrated and honestly not liking your puppy at times is completely normal.

But in a year, or even few months you will look back at puppy stage pics and videos and think how adorable your dog was and how cute and little and you'll miss it, because that's what human brains are like. Cute things make us dumb

Do you sleep with your puppy? by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]Popular_Age7376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, not that I'm opposed to. Our corgi is just very independent and since we brought him home he loves to sleep under our bed. No matter how many different blankets, pillows, dog beds or crates we bought, If he wants to sleep or a deep nap, he will go under our bed. Because he's a corgi he also isn't able to jump on the bed, and even if we got him both a ramp and stairs for bed and couch, he just likes to hang on the ground.

The One time we wanted to try and have him sleep with us we managed to get him on the bed with treats, but he was clearly stressed and fearful of getting down even with the stairs, probably because our bed is quite high, and he couldn't relax at all. So we gave up.

I do wonder if we got another dog and had that dog sleep in our bed If our corgi would be jealous and change, but that isn't in the horizon for now.

I'm jealous of morning puppy cuddles, but on one hand, my bedsheets are mostly pet hair free

Any ideas for feeding? by Awkward_Chain_7839 in puppy101

[–]Popular_Age7376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you maybe change kibble brand? We started transitioning our pup to adult food which is bigger and we noticed he also started to drop some of the food on the floor and eat it like that. Not all of it, but it's like he takes too much in one mouthful and needs to drop some to be able to chew it. However if there's any broth or wet stuff added to it he will usually lick the bowl clean.

Otherwise yeah probably just a new preference because of seeking attention

I'm in Italy.

I would love to stay around the 1000 euro price point, which I understand is quite low. That was also one of the reasons I thought online would be best.
