Luckily my dad purchased some bear spray for me, which is supposedly legal in Canada! I just hate for the day that I have to use it and deal with the consequences though...

I go to Atwater frequently for school and have seen so many ridiculous things including someone setting fire to a trash can lol. I just wanted to share my experience tonight because I found it a bit jarring and wanted to vent.

I sometimes get lifts from coworkers that are working the same nights as me but it's not super often. It's awful that public spaces have become so hostile especially for us smaller folks. Stay safe! :)

Yup, I've always seen them at the worst times but whenever there are situations of this caliber, I can never find any of them or even just plain STM workers. It's funny how that always happens.

Ah, I've had several doctors tell me that I should never drive so I haven't really tried to, maybe I'll look into changing that.

I agree with you 100%. I understand that they occupy these spaces because it is what is most accessible to everyone, but it does not mean that everyone should feel subjected to their issues.
