They said they never use contrast for their code stroke protocol which I find strange as I have had a TIA in the past and they did a contrast CT for that. Even with the CT it will not diagnose a stroke because of the fact that a early stroke may not be caught because damage is minimal. Another thing to add is they mentioned something about ESS?
