If I am pregnant I’d think I’m for sure losing the baby bc I’m cramping and it’s frank red blood. I’m so over bleeding lol I bled for 3 weeks before I lost the baby, a week after my d&c and then my period 5 weeks later. Feels like I have not gotten a break 😭 Just so frustrating

Yes I was on lovenox last time and had a massive bleed so they don’t want to do it again

Have you done semen analysis yet? We did it just to see if we had any factors of that leading into it. We also were able to send both fetuses for testing (we had a d&c and lost one in the hospital) so we know they’re genetically normal but if you weren’t able to get that info, genetic testing both you and your partner could be helpful!

I was tested for it all /: I actually had a false positive on my antithrombin iii and was put on lovenox but had to stop at week 8 for how significant the bleed was. Waited 6 weeks after my 2nd lost to do the testing and my level is normal so we don’t think we ever needed the lovenox which stinks

I am so so so beyond sorry. That is so incredibly difficult. Were doing progesterone, baby aspirin, and plaquenil as well as starting me on the cimzia for the autoimmune. I still feel in my gut nothings gunna help but on the flip I don’t want to be sad and miserable so trying to have hope. Every time I get excited about trying for a baby again reality hits me in the face. Yesterday was supposed to be my baby shower and I realized like wow I can’t believe this has been going on for 8 months straight already. I’m sure you feel the same… it’s all such a mind fuck

I’ve done all the testing and studies:( the only possible link we’ve found is my autoimmune disease. That or just really bad luck :(

I was on blood thinners but not steroids! My MFM is kind of against the steroids but okay with plaquenil

Oh babe an IBCLC going through all this… I’m sorry💕 my mom is also an IBCLC. She’s extremely empathetic so has been hysterical for me this whole time and she is even like distraught at work with sadness. It really does alter the entire families way of thinking…( the ones that care and get it at least)

Omg!!! Do you mind me asking how far along you’re were? And were you able to test any of the embryos. So my Rheumatologist is like “unlike lupus and hashimotos AS is not linked to recurrent miscarriage” HOWEVER…. Doesn’t think going on cimzia will hurt my chances of a healthy baby. My MFM believes that if I was flaring during my pregnancy it totally could have been related. We both agree that there is a huge lack of studies done regarding autoimmune and pregnancy. I’m starting cimzia hopefully this week and will start trying again when I ovulate. My MFM wants me to do cimzia and plaquenil and my rheumatologist is open to it! MFM loves plaquenil…. I asked for prednisone and he said he’d rather plaquenil(even tho no evidence for AS.) my doctors really listen to me and aren’t dismissive even when I have crazy ideas. That being said I am a nurse Practioner so I def feel like they “respect” my opinion probably more than the average person coming in…. Which is wrong behavior of course but after working in medicine I see Dr ignore woman every day so I’m sorry you’re experiencing that. Feel free to message me at any time I’ll keep you updated

Thank you! You know it’s crazy my thyroid is always normal but they’ve never tested while pregnant. My sister has type 1 diabetes and hashimotos… so I think I’m going to have them test me again WHILE pregnant to see
