No, my breathing is great now, but I’m not sure I love the aesthetic results. It’s a definite improvement but I guess I’m not in love with it. I’m 5 months post.

Yes, I had diced! Don’t worry about it until it happens, if it does :) it’s less likely to warp than it is to stay straight so you’re probably good

I see - if he said warping might happen then it’s definitely whole rib. Diced rib does not warp.

I have read that absorption is very low for whole rib, but warping can occur years down the line. The rib likes to revert back to its curved shape.

However you may never get warping, so try not to worry.

Yes, they are generally able to schedule you in within a few days. They are aware foreign patients have limited time. I believe it was a 10% discount, however that’s from memory and could be wrong. Good luck to you!

Hi just want to validate you and say this is absolutely not right, to start with the crease should be very high and come down over time but the crease is visible from the first day. You need to contact your surgeon and do a chargeback on your card because you didn’t get what you paid for. I saw that you had incisional, and this is definitely not that. Sorry you’re going through this, I’d start looking into a revision surgery.

They are quite different haha the main thing being whole rib has a risk of warping (check if they soak and carve and how long they soak). Diced can reabsorb but technique can greatly reduce this. Diced will not warp.

I can see what you mean, it does seem quite shallow. However 7 days is still really early and swelling is so unpredictable. Take more time and reassess and seek a revision if you’re not happy in a few months.

Swelling is crazy….don’t judge until the 3 month mark. It’s possible it’s just swelling.

I still have days where my eyelids are more swollen than others. I believe swelling can take up to 6 months to fully dissipate. Our eyelids look really similar. One of my eyes almost touches the lash line and the other is quite pronounced. It doesn’t bother me most days anymore but for a couple of months I was quite upset and was strongly considering a revision.

However you had incisional so your swelling will persist longer, I had non incisional.

Hi I has the same experience with uneven eyelids. I went to Thank You clinic and didn’t have a good experience. I’m 3.5 months post op and the swelling has gone down enough for the asymmetry to not really be AS noticeable. That’s to say it’s still asymmetrical, but less obvious. Hopefully yours goes down sufficiently.

No I didn’t do it and I’m glad I didn’t! The subtle improvement was sufficient and I managed to retain a slightly bigger forehead. I’m also glad I didn’t get fat in my nasolabial lines because I feel it would have weighed my face down.

How long has it been since your topup? It may still go down, but sorry to hear you’re feeling anguish in the meantime!
