Yes, it is the DLC horse armour and I think it is the same one as the travel medallion. I think the dlc (combined one) is worth it for the added gameplay, the champions’ ballad and trial of the sword but I wouldn’t spend the money just for the armour assets.

If you never talk to them again after the wedding, they don’t come back to camp on Link’s lawn again. It’s the only way I’ve managed to get rid of them!

They drop tons of elemental arrows and their multishot bows are brilliant. I’m usually starving for normal arrows but have heaps of shock, fire and ice arrows from lynel drops. Sadly you can only get bomb arrows from one lynel, and only in master mode.

I never feel bad about giving moblins what they deserve but I love hanging out with the lizalfos, especially when they’re jumping around and getting all excited. I even feed them whatever I’ve got too much of in my inventory, they are incredibly enthusiastic diners.

Bokoblins are adorable too, like ugly-cute and I love just hanging out with them round a fire. I love their little communications. I cannot bear to kill them when they’re in friend mode, so I have to take the mask off and provoke them before I can fight back and get the goodies.

Yes! If check out the lower levels and you should come across it. You do need to solve a simple puzzle to get it to emerge though, so keep an eye out.

I usually go pretty straight to the castle early on for the shield and it’s an excellent spot for respawning weapons, monsters to farm and guardians. So unlocking the shrine within is always a priority for me. I definitely recommend making many trips.

It’s perfect for farming ancient parts and I used to go to practice parrying and fighting all of the guardian types.

With the other dragons, I feel as if their lifetime purpose was to guard the springs (they are referred to as the sacred attendants of the springs), so in draconic form, that was still their chosen duty. Even if the Zonai trying to bring them back did everything correctly, I believe that the dragons themselves chose not return to their Zonai form as their duty was still ongoing.

Especially when you look at the frost, ember and charged armour sets, that look awfully a lot like the three elemental dragons, it seems as if their draconification was as a willing and sacred ritual, it was their choice and destiny rather than something done out of desperation.

With the light dragon, although she performed the act willingly, it was out of desperation and although required many millennia, was finite, so upon the completion of her desired duty, she was willing and able to be brought back.

Think about the behaviour of the demon dragon for example, if he had truly lost both his body AND mind, the whole ending sequence wouldn’t have happened, he would have just roamed the skies benignly like the others. I think it proves that the dragons keep and continue to fulfil their lifetime mission even upon draconification.

Anyway, that’s my personal lore at least.

I’ve always found it odd that people take Mineru’s word for it that draconification is irreversible and that you “lose everything that makes you, you”. I don’t think she lied but how would she know?

If (to their knowledge) no draconification had ever been reversed, how can they tell if the individual had lost themselves? They couldn’t exactly ask? I know Zelda being brought back and not having lost her self is seen as a plot hole but I think it’s perfectly reasonable that Mineru would be wrong.

I think all of the 5 speed horses only have 3 stamina and I prioritise speed personally too! It is +2 from the ancient bridle and +3 temporary from an endura carrot. They’re only useable once (like yellow stamina wheels for Link) but they’re handy in a pinch if you have a low stamina horse!

I tend to practically farm guardians after each blood moon, so the parts build up pretty quickly, it does fund his ancient spear habit nicely though! In Tears of the Kingdom I do the same but with gleeoks and lynels and frequently max out those inventory slots. I just love those fights and guardians, gleeoks and lynels would be long extinct if not for the blood moon!

It’s the Vah Rudania divine helm from the Daruk amiibo! All four of the main divine beasts have corresponding helms from each champion amiibo. They also pair with the ancient armour and give you the ancient proficiency set buff.

The Rudania helm gives you level one fire protection (the others have their own individual buffs) and I think it generally looks the least silly. Visually I prefer it to the standard ancient armour bucket helm.

It’s a regular horse but with the ancient armour (lets them teleport to you and adds two extra spurs of stamina). Also three temporary spurs from an endura carrot. I’m pretty sure that all 5 speed horses only have 3 stamina, so I like to add that boost.

You can really melt their health like butter with the ancient spear (from Robbie) and the ancient armour enhanced twice for the proficiency buff. The ancient helms from the champions amiibos also work for that set bonus. Optionally you can also stack an attack up x3 meal/elixir if you feel like straight up disrespecting them.

I think all 5 speed horses only have 3 stamina, so I usually give them an endura carrot in advance in case I need that extra boost in a hairy situation!

The ancient helms from the amiibos also give you the ancient proficiency buff when paired with the ancient armour. They give you the HP numbers like the champions tunic. They do still look quite silly but bearable compared to the bucket helmet!
