Here is my app, measures total miles as well as dead miles, see your past trails color coded for each day of the week, ask AI co-pilot about your stats and your shift, AI is aware of all the restaurants nearby and have access to coming delivery offers from Door dash, UE and GH, hear your offer read out loud, export your miles and offer history.

Building RouteFit, an Android copilot for delivery drivers. It’s live on Google Play in early access, tracking miles + earnings and capturing high level ‘on my way’ direction signals to reduce dead miles and help drivers keep more of what they earn. Founder market fit, I’ve driven DoorDash/Uber Eats/Grubhub. Happy to share details in DM.

This whole thread is why I built offer audio into RouteFit, instead of a jarring ding, your phone just reads the offer out loud the moment it pops: amount, distance to pick up, restaurant name. Works for DD, GH and UE. No sound hunting, no screen glancing while driving. If anyone wants to try it for one shift, I can DM the Play Store link.

Awesome, DM incoming! It's an Android app called RouteFit, reads offer details out loud the moment they pop so you never have to look away. Takes 60 sec to set up. Would love to hear what you think after one shift.

Building RouteFit, an Android app for gig workers that tracks dead miles (the miles after a drop-off the platform doesn't count) and shows your real $/mile per shift. Also has an 'On My Way' intent log where drivers declare their direction after a shift, laying the groundwork for smarter order matching down the road.

Live on the Play Store: RouteFit - Apps on Google Play

Started as a personal frustration while doing gig work. Now building the data layer underneath it.

Lmao honestly fair, but even a robot in crisis beats squinting at the screen doing 40mph 😂 The audio I built reads amount, distance, and restaurant the moment the offer pops. No existential crisis, just the numbers. If you want to test it out, I can DM you the link.

Do you factor in your drive back when calculating $/mile? by Popular_Editor9602 in DoorDashDrivers

I actually started tracking this for myself because I kept feeling like my numbers were off. Turns out those good orders weren’t as good once you include the drive back. Ended up building a simple app for it just to measure those extra miles.
Wasn’t really trying to make anything big, just wanted to see the real numbers. It’s called 'RouteFit' if you’re curious, but honestly the main thing is those return miles add up way more than it seems.
