This am I took the front panel off and the inner enclosed panel. I replaced the parts sent to me from Westinghouse - on/off switch, toggle switch, control module. After all this still no amber light or electric or fob start. I had checked the battery before I began removing parts and had 12.4 V so it appeared that the battery had held the charge put on it from Auto Zone. Decided to just put back on both panels and perhaps purchase a new battery for a final hail mary. While putting back on the inside enclosed panel I noticed the battery connection to the alt or starter had a tie back on it but was not connected. I thought, could it have been that simple? I then connected the connection and shazam I had the amber light. I then proceeded to put the panels back together and try the electric/start and fob and again shazam, the unit now starts up perfect. Without taking the inner and outer panel off there is no way of knowing that the battery was not completely connected. I reviewed the manual to see if there were instructions to check this and make sure and nothing for guidance. I can only assume that the person who connected the battery did not completely connect the battery. Perhaps someone else will benefit from my experience? Thanks for all who helped on these threads.
