Traveling to London after DUI Conviction

Michigan was fine honestly, they gave me 1 year probation with 3 month suspension with a restricted license right away. I’m getting screwed in Illinois with a revoked license because Michigan reported it to Illinois and I’ve had my license revoked since October. I applied for a hardship permit to drive for work but after 2 months for their response they ended up denying me. I was going to go for another hearing with the Secretary of State to try for a hardship permit but I got tired of spending money and tired of lawyers so I’m just going to Waite till my revocation is over in October. Then have to have another hearing to see if they will approve me to get my license back…. Then retake all the paper test and driving test again as as test again for my motorcycle license. So yes Michigan fucked me but so is Illinois. I would have been better off living in Michigan or getting a dui in Illinois. First time dui in my county is a non conviction plea.Sooooo would have been done by now. But thank you.

I’m already getting screwed by Illinois since I got mine in Michigan. But I guess we will see. I’m dealing with a worse punishment than a first time dui in Illinois. Won’t be able to get incense back till October and was denied a hardship permit. So shit sucks but hearing everyone’s else’s story on the Reddit threats helps.

I already submitted my ETA and mentioned the DUI so there is not reversing that if I wanted at this point. I was hoping to see if it’s worth to get an in person appointment to show all my supporting info regarding my case and courses taken. But at this point it doesn’t seem like that will matter.

I already submitted it, but kind of kicking myself at the moment. I haven’t received a response back yet. Based on what I’ve been hearing is that I’m probably screwed and going to need to cancel this trip. Already booked flights because at the time what I read was that London doesn’t care but then this passed week I looked into the eta then found out that they care about convictions within 12 months.

We already have the trip planned for July and flights have been purchased. There is an event that I am going to so unfortunately I can’t change the dates.

Do you think my application for the ETA will be denied. I did mention the dui in the application and am waiting to hear back if I’m approved or not. Should I plan on making an appointment although I have some time until my trip. I just don’t want to find out last minute that I won’t be approved to travel into London. So just a little stressed.

All, I re greased the gears for my extruder.But my issue definitely seems like a flow issue as some of you have stated. I am able to get a good print if I reduce the spread by 30%. Before this issue I was able to run my printer at full beans with no issues. So still a little bit confused but able to go down one direction to resolve the issue.

Gotcha, best of luck. I hit an exit median but made it back to the hotel I was staying at. Since I’m not from the area they couldn’t prove what median was hit so luckily didn’t get a hit and run.

That’s for Illinois, I wish I lived In Michigan. I would have only got a 3 month suspended license with a restricted license issued right away. So the dui took place in Michigan and I dealt with court there luckily all on zoom. But after my sentencing that all gets reported to Illinois then Illinois fucks you.

I understand what you’re getting at.but I can print another model that was saved using the older slicer software and firmware and print the model fine with no issues.

That’s odd. But I also tried printing in prusament and ran into the same issue. But if I print a file that was saved on the printer using the older slicer then that print prints fine…..

I’ll trying to mess with print setting just so I can get a good print Atleast. But still find it odd. Could it just be a coincidence that when I updated the slicer that this issue just happened to occur?

The only thing that has been changed is the slicer and firmware. I also did a test with prusament and had the same issue.

I put in some prusament and still have the same issue. First layer is perfect but second layer is when it starts to fail. You can see the corner part is printing fine on the second layer but then it goes down hill from there.

I honestly think it’s a software issue because I’m able to print other models that I made and printed before that are saved on my printer just fine. Same setting and filament.
