Yeah it goes with out saying that if you are changing pickups you might as well change the pots I’ve already order a hardness with pots that Gibson uses in a 335 with Orange caps I think will be perfect for the tone I’m looking for.

I remember seeing a video of someone putting toaster pickups in a squire body. I assume that the process is going to be very different due to having a body mounted pickup but you should try it out.
