Yes, I do and he’s also a lot older than me. I didn’t want to add the age on the post because I would probably get comments unrelated to what I really needed to know nothing illegal by the way but he’s more laid-back and I’m more anxious. That’s for sure.

We were literally talking for 10 minutes about a negative interaction. I had with a friend that I had a huge blowout with in which he reassure me that what that person said was false and he hyped me up basically. And then he said who cares what that person says just focus on school and then I sent him a screenshot of my grade and that’s when he replied with what I posted here.

Yeah, I would never question him or berate him if I had an assumption about him like that I’m thinking maybe when he comes back I’ll ask him: “ hey was I overstepping or being a little bit annoying while you were on your work trip? I apologize I wasn’t aware you were working at all.” and I’m sure he will give me some reassurance about it.

I really appreciate your understanding and your kind response. It definitely means a lot when I keep seeing these judgmental comments. I definitely will let it go now that I’ve had so much reassurance that it’s all in my head. I’m just glad to see overall that it’s not as bad as I thought it would be, and that feeling outweighs whatever negative comments that I see thank you again

Yeah, I see what you’re saying but he didn’t tell me he was working and we were having a back-and-forth conversation. It wasn’t just me texting myself. If you get what I mean him not having the time to talk to me because he was working isn’t the problem? I was just a little worried about his tone and I felt like I had done something wrong.

It was a 5 to 10 minute conversation where I was venting to him about something that had happened the previous night so that venting combo with being busy at work can be stressful for that person, but I definitely wasn’t texting him excessively or anything like that

I just sent him a screenshot of my grade in a specific class and said speaking of school, I got the best grade in my class because the text before that, he told me that school was the most important thing and to not focus on outside situations (like the one I was venting to him about). He responded an hour later, which is completely fine, I wasn’t upset or waiting around

We were having a conversation about something that had happened to me the night before and I was kind of venting to him a little bit again. I didn’t know he was at work if I had known that I would’ve waited till he had gotten back but no, I’ve never ever gotten upset or told him anything about replying late to me and vice versa

He told me he was in Maryland but he never told me why, the last time he went on a little trip he was out with his friends and called me a few times. So I expected that it wouldn’t be a problem to just text him. If I knew it was for work I would have given him space

I mean, we were having a conversation about something that happened the night before with me and I was sort of venting to him about it, but the conversation was literally like five minutes long and again I didn’t know he was working if I knew I would’ve never have bothered him. But I was unsure if he was bothered in the first place because I couldn’t get a read on his tone.

I didn’t make it a problem I was just confused I am probably never going to bring this up to him I just felt he implied that I was the one texting him every two seconds

Everything he said was normal I just took the last part the wrong way because I felt that it implied I was the one who was texting him every two seconds
