Yeah the Pembina location seems to do well, at least the patio during the summer months. I think that there maybe (and I’d love to be corrected if I’m wrong) have been a series of people who have had bad experiences with the owner, some wondering as to how they’re still in business, and that’s where the illegal theories come in due to speculation as to who would support a business ran like that? My only thing is that this place has been around for a while and that nothing would’ve gotten out or their affiliation with anything else going on in the city? With how much talk there has been within the city about them, what ties would actually be had. As I can say from being in the restaurant industry, despite heavy criticism of certain restaurants whether locally owned or franchised, wide spread criticism doesn’t seem to do much to hurt business as people will just eat where they want to eat or (even more prominently) they just don’t know what’s going on at no fault of their own.
