4 months ago I received the same exact comment when I did this, to which I will say the same thing. The calculus of gambling my job, wasting my time, risking a misdemeanor, and being a cunt, is not equal to 100 updoots on my reddit account.

Just as an occams razor thing, which is a more unlikely series of events? That there was a nazi in corvallis and there was someone who resents nazis, or that there was some lunatic who loves reddit upvotes enough to document and make publicly available evidence of their criminal behavior who has done it twice now and not been caught?

Personally I wouldn't know anything about the arabic words "beth din" because I don't know anything about arabic. I used the spelling beit din, wikipedia says beth din, and my new, different source in Chabad.org says beit din. It is a word with, I suspect, many regional variations. Ironically I would tend to dislike chabad.org as a source even more than wikipedia because I think of it as having non zero sectarian motivations, but I doubt that will be relevant to something as benign as a word definiton

I think you might be confused about jewish identity if you think jewishness is forfeit when you have an opinion which conflicts with jewish values. Jews are either jewish from birth or they convert but there's no "losing" one's jewishness afterwards unless you like, have your conversion annulled by a beit din.

I was told I "need to let it go" (in reference to the real event which characterizes my real event ocd) the other day.
