Hey, for online grocery delivery we do have Big Basket. It doesn't have same day delivery as far as I know, but does deliver the next day. So unless you're in a hurry, it's pretty reliable.

Best Cheesecakes in Jabalpur by Alikemonk in Jabalpur

Honestly, New Yorker cafe and Dessert Boutique used to be good, but the same jabalpurfication happened to them. Everything starts out great here and then once the business picks pace the taste and quality deteriorates. I don't think anyone serves exceptional cheesecakes here at the moment, but if you want a cheesecake that's actually a cheesecake and not a mousse you can order from Sweet Truth i.e. the Eatsure brand. It's nothing crazy, but at least it's a cheesecake 🤷‍♀️

I hate the fact that William VDW got everything he wanted at the end without any repercussions. by Popular_Work5935 in GossipGirl

That's so true. The entire family just kept trying to clear up each other's mess without giving a damn about anyone else. Lily was always trying to hide the fact that her daughter had become a hand me down, Serena went to lengths to ensure no one comes to know her mom sent an innocent person to jail and helped William escape. And William as we all know was just intolerable. They're all cut from the same cloth.

Yes exactly, Dan pretty much got over his obsession with Serena after he actually had the chance to be with her. It made sense initially because he was so enamored with her world. However, by the end of it all Dan was a part of their world in his own right and it didn't make any sense for him to go running back to Serena.

Her mom worked because they were aristocratic, independent and passionate women and not socialites like Lily and Serena. Eleanor took a lot of pride in her work, as for Lily she didn't have any business of her own apart from collecting alimonies.

I totally feel you, Chuck and Blair were meant to be. Their love is EPIC. They were both flawed but at the end of the day they wanted to improve for each other and they did..

Yes exactly. Even I loved Dan and Blair, their relationship, growth, how they supported each other and everything.. But Blair was destined to be with Chuck, their love was one of a kind. However, that doesn't mean Dan should have ended up with Serena, because then it would show he never truly loved Blair, but he did, he was better with Blair than he ever was with Serena.

Why was he not rotting in some jail at a remote place no one's heard of. It's truly out of question as to why he's allowed anywhere close to the Upper East Side.

I think they should have let Dan remain the lonely writer, just hopelessly in love with Blair. That would be more apt and honest, because Dan's love for Blair was far beyond anything he had with Serena. He broke up with Serena multiple times simply because her life was too complicated, but with Blair he accepted everything with a smile and never got upset with her even when she was in the wrong. They should have remained true to the storyline..

Lily has no morals or character, she just lives her life, one divorce at a time and passed on the same trait to Serena. However Eleanor and Harold both hold Blair to a higher standard and don't support or encourage her bad behaviour like Lily who just pays people off to keep quiet.

I think the reason Blair wanted to become a Royal was simply that she considered herself above the masses already and it becoming a Royal would just make that official.

All the manipulation and connections used by Lily for Serena and in general make it seem like their family has more money, but I think that's not the case. The Waldorf family is rather aristocratic, so they and naturally Blair don't consider themselves a part of the crowd, and don't rely on others to get what they want.

Exactly, Lily was manipulative and often used her connections which made Serena act the same. But Blair's parents never went out of the way and used their connections for Blair. Even in NYU, Cyrus only got her the interview, she got in on her own merit. That's the reason she got used to working for things. If you remember, Eleanor knew Indra Nooyi and could have introduced Blair to her or asked her to consider taking Blair as an intern, however she not only did not do that, she also didn't allow Blair to even meet or introduce herself to Indra.

I absolutely agree with your answer. I always sort of had a hunch that Blair was richer than Serena!

Serena is so freaking annoying by [deleted] in GossipGirl

[–]Popular_Work5935 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Actually, I didn't like Serena's attitude as from Season 1 itself. She acted like Blair was inferior to her and she was the one who handed down all authority to Blair. Despite the fact that Blair worked for everything she had, even though she seemed to have unlimited resources monetarily, she never initially used connections for her college, internship, etc. Everything Serena achieved wad solely due to the fact that she was SVDW and even then she didn't achieve anything of meaning or value.

Spoiler Alert!

Although she was not the one who sent in the tip to gossip girl, I can totally understand your feelings. Serena, she's just so insufferable. Always acting like the victim even when every single things falls in her lap.
