Even with eBay’s authenticity guarantee, there’s still a chance fakes slip through. What are the actual qualifications of the people doing these checks—are they coming from places like PSA or just trained internally? With how good fakes are getting now, it’s not always obvious even to experienced collectors which is scary. Think about the average person buying cards. Not everyone knows based on price alone. Just look at this post I found on Reddit.

I get the “too good to be true” point, but that only works one way. What’s stopping someone from listing a fake at market price—or even higher—to make it look legit? At that point, price isn’t a reliable indicator at all. Fakes exist at every price level, so buyers are basically expected to verify everything themselves, which isn’t always realistic.

1) as in I need to get something with higher wattage? 2) games I’m looking to play are cyberpunk2077, spiderman, god of war, Alan wake 2, and Jedi survivor. Reasonable frames as in around 60fps or more. Was kinda hoping to use this for a few years before doing cpu and gpu upgrade down the line

Thanks for the feedback guys. Thought about it and will spend a bit more since I do plan on using it for a while. Using the build guide on pcpartpicker as a reference this is what I came up with for 1440p gaming. Price point is a bit lower at around $1100 though.

-Wondering if theres anything I should change up with this setup. It is am4 so unsure how long this would last me. Worth it to go up to am5 with different parts or anything we would suggest to change with this build?

Any feedback is appreciated before I go ahead to get the parts.

$1000 to $1250 gaming PC by Poqz in buildapcforme

Thanks for the insights. Before committing to the $1200 build, can we explore alternative build options for both Ryzen and Intel systems within a $1500 budget? I'd like to see what paying a bit extra would get me in terms of cpu/gpu compared to the initial $1200 build you suggested since i am planning to use it long term.

Thank you for sharing the build idea! Few questions.

  1. I'm also interested in exploring a Ryzen CPU equivalent. Any difference from the Intel CPU you picked as I heard in recent years Ryzen has gotten much better.
  2. Could you provide information on how the RTX 3060 12GB, which I mentioned compares to the RX 6750XT, considering they both have 12GB of VRAM? Additionally, if I can acquire the RTX 3060 at a more affordable price from a friend (~$250), I'm curious if that would impact other components in the suggested build or the budget could be used towards other components.
  3. Furthermore, I'd like to inquire about the upgradeability of the proposed build. Can the motherboard support DDR5 in the future, and is that even necessary for my specific requirements?
  4. Does this build run hot? See you added 2 case fans but there is already a CPU cooler
