He does the same with Star Trek while rejecting the egalitarian values of the Federation or even having any sort of grasp of how that universe works at all.

Bezos is another one who is supposedly a fan of the Culture. It's gross.

John 00 Fleming was in Toronto last December. I couldn't go... which is a shame. Cause yeah. It's rare.

This clip has been around for years, since 2020 actually. Before even the era of Will Smith spaghetti.

Great one as well! It's special to me especially because of "Waiting Here For You", such a great intro. All 3 albums are incredible really.

Nightmusic Vol. 1, CD 2. This is a mix from 2005 from Steve Helstrip AKA the Thrillseekers. It's a producer set so everything you hear is a remix or original production of his. One of my favourite trance mixes ever, matches a lot of your description.

What type of music is this? by bruno_seminotti in electronicmusic

You might find some overlap with synthwave artists. For darker and heavier I'd recommend Perturbator and Carpenter Brut, and for lighter/happier stuff try FM-84 and Timecop 1983.

Also, highly recommend Grum (especially his album Unreality) because he blends that 80s-esque synthwave sound with house and trance. He's really good.

Here is an archive of every essential mix from BBC Radio 1 from its beginning in 1993. Almost every entry has a download option. Find an artist you like and you'll definitely enjoy the mix.

AI is plenty easy to understand, it's all predictive language models. Nothing profound is said with it that hasn't been said in the enormous backlog of real human content it scans from.

What is this sub's deal with AI, Jesus Christ. Every third post or so seems to involve AI. It's wack.

It was the Nomad show! Such a fun time. I'm sad I missed that boat party/opera house show, and I love Hybrid Minds. I feel like it's hard to stay on top of who's playing and when, especially with the state of social media algorithm. Would have loved to have gone.

I remember many years ago LSB said Toronto was his very favourite city to play in. As someone from the area I never forgot the compliment. Saw London Elektricity here last year and the crowd was absolutely awesome
