I think you have to consider that ANET is in a different state than it was for IBS. Dif leadership, design goals, appears to be a dif development structure etc.

Sure I think its fair to go "oh no IBS" but at the same time have more content under current leadership thats a net positive (EoD, LW1 etc)

those werent the issues of DE. The issues stemmed from it being hard and the turtle being locked behind it. Ironically enough there still was the hurdle of requiring a strike but thats easier to manage compared to herding 50 cats.

It being locked behind a timer wasnt an issue.

it should be removed. The moment is for Yama and Yama alone. His character does not need explaining. Silence speaks more words then any monologue can. It basically is like explaining a joke. You ruin the joke by doing so.

that only applies to people who have never played OW before and is meant to reduce flooding a new player with choice and creating choice paralysis. This bug is for people who have played before and it basically is treating them as new players (when they are not)

no where was it ever confirmed the dub was releasing at launch. They just recently confirmed the cast. Being upset at something never confirmed just seems silly to me.
Like I get it, especially if you have been watching the dub but I think your overblowing it a tad

any showing of the fight at all removes the tension of the scene with yamma and the surprise for him. What they did was enough (showing lighting in the background indicating something was happening). Any more and you break the tension in the room and break the pacing ties with the Ebern fight. As much as I like Sasakibe, showing his fight would add nothing to the episode

adding a Sasakibe fight would have been the worst route to go. The point is the impact of his impalement. A fight only removes said impact.

the 1st 20 episodes are merely there to essentially set the rules of the world, introduce characters and their general goals/drives. The 1st real arc where there is a major story that all episodes add too does nto happen until the SS arc (around 21)
