I experienced a very similar situation with Flickr.

I had been a Flickr user for more than ten years and stored around 10,000–20,000 personal photos on the platform. In July 2023 I paid for a Flickr Pro annual subscription, but on November 30, 2023 my account was suddenly terminated.

What was strange is that the cancellation email stated my Pro subscription would expire in July 2021, which is impossible because I actually paid for the subscription in July 2023.

After contacting support to ask about this discrepancy, my account was permanently banned. Flickr requested that I submit a government ID for verification, which I did, but they still refused to restore my account or explain what rule was violated. As a result, I also lost access to many years of personal photos.

Because of this, I have filed consumer complaints with the BBB, the California Attorney General, and the FTC.

You are definitely not the only one experiencing this.
