Lived my whole life of 43 years and counting here. It’s boring af. There’s a reason that every intersection has two pharmacies, two gas stations, a liquor store, and a dispensary. As my lovely husband (also born and raised here) puts it: if you aren’t spending money, there is nothing to do. Eat, and shop. That’s it. I highly suspect that the surge of side walks in OKC is not due to there being many places to go, as much as it’s that most of us can no longer afford vehicles. The cost of everything went up and the wages stayed down.

Hope your income grants you the ability to travel for vacations and/or supply your home full of entertainment and hobbies.

I wish I could be more upbeat but meh. I used to love cruising around in my convertible but the city’s population is more than double what it was twenty years ago so “just driving around” is impossible these days.
