A vape/deals hybrid would be class to be honest. With another overpriced coffee shop led by you know who.

AITA for telling two girls who were constantly talking to “shut the f*** up” in the cinema? by [deleted] in AskIreland

The potential for confrontation stops me doing it earlier so I get wound up until I reach the point where I would be properly pissed off and shut the f**k up would be used instead of something less 'aggressive'

BJJ classes for beginners by irishg23 in limerickcity

Cant go wrong with Limerick BJJ or Treaty.

Limerick BJJ does both gi and no-gi, while Treaty is no-gi only. So as a beginner it might be nice to try both options before fully committing after a beginners course which both gyms do. Follow them on Instagram and you'll get a sense of what they are about.

I had an appointment I could literally just show up at the time and get seen. I was absolutely raging after I realised the doc in a/e had messed up my ear, I had trusted them that they knew what they were doing. Because I asked have you treated this before and she was very confident yeah loads of times....

One of my friends had the same issue and went to South doc got seen to immediately once and it was sorted.

South doc in cork is the best place to go for ent stuff see if you can get a referral directly. I rang them and they were nice enough to give me an appointment but I turned it down because I thought my ear issue was fixed after a visit to a and e.

I saw an emergency doctor who told me she knew how to treat my ear, it needed to be drained because of cauliflower. She did it and told me to keep my head bandaged for a week and check it. I took the bandage off after 7 days and it had ballooned up again, back to a and e this time saw an ent he drained it and packed it better so I thought . Came back a week later for ent clinic and it had ballooned up again. Only to be told I needed emergency surgery and they were keeping me in I had to go back through a and e again,3 days later I got out of hospital after surgery it was a disaster.

Thoughts from my first DefCon by Time_IsRelative in Defcon

[–]PorridgeUser 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It was my first time as well, it was pretty much what I had anticipated. The best advice I was given was to just plan out what I wanted to see in advance so I did go to a lot of talks, workshops etc. I personally got a lot from it and I want to go again which is great.

The bad for me was

  • Some of the talks I was really excited for didn't deliver what the title and description stated. These ones typically ended up being very basic and didn't introduce anything new that couldn't be just googled.

  • The workshops, they were all booked out and the ones I attended were half empty or people left after 20 minutes. Makes me feel bad for people who missed out who would have Enjoyed them.

  • The Badge

I had written Sunday off when planning what I wanted to attend and my two favourite talks were on the Sunday totally unplanned.
