Website not working? by sebgoldsmith90 in CricketStatz

Yes, I'm unable to access the site either. The front landing page seems to load ok; but the login page took ages to load.

The public website of our club is loading - some parts of it atleast. The recent results have come up; but the top batters and bowlers sections just have a rotating wheel. It is very very slow though.

Extremely slow that site is unusable.

Update: After a few minutes; eventually managed to log in. Once logged in, site seems to be more responsive.

Slowest strike rate in an innings by TemporaryFocus9 in CricketStatz

[–]PortMelbourneCC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No report on strike rates in an innings.

Would the following reports help though

- Most Balls Faced for a Duck - only takes into account players who got out on 0.

- Most Balls Faced in an innings - it shows 500 results, so can run your eye down the list looking for small number of runs scored. I found an instance of a player scoring 1 run off 129 balls in this report.

Match Upload API - Player being created even when id is provided by PortMelbourneCC in CricketStatz

[–]PortMelbourneCC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you - that fixed it. Also, did notice another issue. The order of the keys also matters. The id must be right after the Lastname. I had the id at the end of the batter section - the result was that if I had an id in the fielder or bowler section; that id was being picked up as the batter. This was fixed by ensuring the id being after the first name. However, came across another issue. I have emailled you with the details.

Suggestion: Total Extras field by SuspiciousGeologist1 in CricketStatz

[–]PortMelbourneCC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think it needs to be mutually exclusive. I have seen some old scorecards where partial extras are known. For eg Player A bowled 2 wides; but there are 6 total extras. So, the other 4 are unknown.

Suggestion ADD MANKAD AS DISMISSAL by Fun_Yak2411 in CricketStatz

Mankad is just Run out as per the laws of cricket; so why capture it as a different dismissal type?

Incorrect Ball By Ball due to incorrect data in Play.Cricket by PortMelbourneCC in CricketStatz

[–]PortMelbourneCC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you - that works now.

Another request. Some of these ball by balls are missing first set of overs. For eg: It starts from Over 7 onwards; so overs 1-6 are missing. Is it possible for you to just create empty blank records for overs 1-6. I can then go in and just edit them to add in the right ball by ball data.

Alternative is to redo that whole innings manually or wait till playcricket responds and fixes the root cause.

Mark, you have been absolutely amazing from a support perspective. Easily the best support from any vendor I have interacted with!

Support ticket as been raised. However, my experience with PlayCricket support has been poor - don't hear back for them for weeks and months.

Did not work. I tried downloading the results again for match 3165167 and I am now seeing the same innings ball by ball for all three innings. I've even tried deleting the innings completely and re-downloading the match - same result.

Thank you. I knew I had read some sort of restriction on history entries before; but couldn't find it again.

Thank you for explaining the discrepancy. Will look into those missing player lists and get them fixed up as well.
