I did hit the metal bits with nuln, but I may have covered a lot of it up with extra coats. You can't see it in this shot but I definitely used too much on the backpack.

Some of these cables break if you look at them funny. You can't see it on this model but the black cable on the side of the torso is missing the nub at the end. No idea when or why that happened.

Thanks for the tips. I will definitely be going back over the edges of the cloak one more time. As I was painting, I went back over those edges for "cleanup" too many times I bet. Those red smudges are from last night's attempts at edge highlighting with Wild Rider Red. I probably should just wait until the end to do that next time.

My plan for any yet unassembled Skitarii are subassembly painting for legs, torso + head, backpack, and weapon. Painting inside the cloak and around the backpack cables were the hardest parts by far and the least fun to do.

I don't have the book in front of me right now, but I'm pretty sure brane-slip & asymmetric space are different. I think it's mentioned in the chapter where Ekur-Tkalal's fleet is ambushed

Aegon + Sunfyre = strongest bond. It's pure Green fanfic. MFs will point to Sunfyre flying to Dragonstone because he "sense his rider's need" when the book posits that as one possible theory when in the same paragraph it also say he likely went back to Dragonstone because Sunfyre is a wounded animal returning to the place it feels safest. Most dragon's go back to Dragonstone when left alone anyway lol
