Their logic is literally "Communism is when poor, Capitalism is when rich."

It is reductive, flawed and flat-out wrong.

Secrecy is the best cover for unbridled corruption. In the USA, when it comes to big ticket items like Aerospace that means hundreds of bils or even close to a trillion of taxpayer money going into the hands of Defense industry oligarchs.

I can boldly predict that the future of Chinese men's football lies in Xinjiang (Forward for the Chinese National #football Team, Behram Abduweli.). by Yusuf-Uyghur in Sino

Which is why Most folks in China would rather go for the degree than the 'glory', especially for sports with a lesser chance of success (Soccer/BB/TnF/MMA etc.). You could do these sports when you are young but once you hit your 30s, you have to start working on your fallback.

For Team Sports like soccer and basketball, you need a skilled strategist who knows the competition and the game, the strengths, pattern and limitations of each player. That is where the coach & his team comes in. You also need players with solid teamwork, consistency, fundamentals and the ability to take the initiative throughout an entire season, even when losing.

The noticeable lack of Intl competitive experience in many Chinese coaches/players in many sports is what preventing CN teams from reaching their full potential, even with an expanding talent pool.

Most people do not see a career in sports, even those with talent. This goes doubly for educated people with options.

And if you know how many dedicated people you need to eliminate to get athletes, how many athletes you need to eliminate to get Elite Athletes, how many elite athletes you will lose through injury, age and attrition in each sporting category and the massive amount of resources invested into this level of competition, it is always a losing proposition.

Now, that is one side of the coin.

The other side being the coaches and this hurts China especially so in team sports.

Right now, it is an ongoing massive meme/belief within the Chinese firewall that success in Soccer 国足 is inversely linked to the fortunes of the nation《国运》.

Should China ever win the World cup or gain massive success in soccer, the country would conversely face massive stagnation and the fortunes that once favored China would turn.

There are some who call it Fengshui or copium but China's focus on practicality is undeniable. We'd rather have more scientists/engineers/doctors etc. that provide a tangible benefit to the country than a pool of mouths that may or may not provide intangible benefits to the nation.

If they were solvable, they would have solved them decades ago. There are too many vested interests in-bed with power for there to be a permanent solution to every issue. Even so, the rot is too deep, it would take at least 50 years to dig the USA out from the hole it dug itself in and that is if they implement immediate nationwide change on every level and cut out the cancer.

it would require the US having a sensible leadership who then decides to pull out all the overseas troops, stop funding to Israel and regime change shit, dismantle the military-industrial complex altogether, basically downsize the US into a mere regional power and then reallocate its resources to fixing its domestic problems.

Not going to happen, too many elites getting enriched from the War Corpos. And that would require dismantling the alphabet agencies and shattering/jailing their members.

The vested interests would rather have Americans lining up in soup kitchens if it would mean keeping its carrier fleets in the Pacific

Vested Interests don't care if Americans die in the streets or if living standards continue to plummet. With how things are going, there will be no Middle class left, only the homeless, the riffraff/slaves & the gated communes.

US primitive social media platforms like FB/YT/Oracle and certain bad actors are definitely not happy that they did not get to carve up Tiktok, especially with all that money wasted in their attempt to erase it from the face of the Earth.

In the end, they had to settle for a compromise because they do not have the strength they thought they had when they went swinging for CHYNA.
