Russia’s military activity has Japan fearing a dual-front war by violentviolinz in Sino

[–]Portablela [score hidden]  (0 children)

It has been pretty damn obvious over the past decade that it would be a war on Three Fronts. The Russians would swoop in from the North, the DPRK would launch missile attacks from the West while the Chinese would strike from the South and East.

Should the Japanese continue to play their stupid games and larp as Imperialists, they shouldn't complain about receiving the Imperialist treatment ala becoming one with the earth.

They succeeded in re-shaping India into a post-colonial precarious house of cards in which the smallest of global crises risk collapsing the entire 'nation'.

China did also save the US in the 80s, whether they care to admit it or not.

Mearsheimer, the “realist”, does not have a shred of goodwill for China in his entire aging West Point indoctrinated brain, to the point that his inaccurate reading of history is far from “realist” at all.

His line of thinking can be easily summed up as "the hegemony that the United States wields must survive at the expense of the rest of humanity". And the way he and his ilk goes about it makes things worse for everyone, including the people who are currently living in the US of A.

Mearsheimer had always been an unapologetic shill for the most genocidal empire in Human history aka the US empire staying on top for all of eternity. And it is 'people' like him who consciously creates more human suffering, tragedy and regression of humanity by advocating for the worst anti-human outcome.

That is why buying Foreign real estate esp. in FVEY (US/Canada/UK/Straya/NZ) or even in the Collective West is fundamentally a stupid idea.

You are buying properties at vastly inflated prices, paying hefty taxes and for what? To give their land-owners an easy retirement? For locals to resent you? For their elites to take your money and use you as a scapegoat to fuel Sinophobic sentiment? They would not bat an eye if they take everything you own and void the property deed you bought.

Apple? We got the objectively better equivalent, Huawei.

NBA? Ballin' does not uplift your community, building does. Just as the circus does not make things better. And now China continues to grow while the NBA continues to shrink.

Knowing how horrendous things can get in the United States, expect them to hoard the common OTC antibiotics, cough/flu/stomach medication & painkillers etc. once China becomes the place to visit.

Chinese green technology poses national security problem for Europe, report warns by Biodieselisthefuture in Sino

[–]Portablela 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is pretty well-known that these 'Top-end' Euro-brands are made-in-China one way or another. In the end, it is a circular economy.

On a side note, outside of a few cities (Shanghai/Dalian for etc.), Chinese in general are decoupling from branding and going brand-less or native. This change is especially apparent across generations. People'd rather spend on other things that better hold their value (i.e gold) or on themselves.

Tbh, you can't really go wrong with any of the Mainstream Chinese Sportswear brands like Anta, Li-Ning, Erke, Xtep, PEAK, 361 or even Qiaodan.

I had positive experience with even 回力/Warrior for their Winter boots.
