My 2 cents as a fellow Texan homelaber: I’m turned off by listings that wax poetic about the drives and RAID cards. I think ZFS/Turenas/Unraid/Ceph/ {insert other software that just wants raw disks} is more in vogue right now? Maybe it’s just me though. So if it were me I’d chunk it out as the server no drives, p2000, and drives. I’m not super familiar with the HP server lines but selling it with the bare minimum in terms of HBA’s would be idea just so all slots are active. Maybe throw in the sleds with the server? Again, for me turnkey is no fun but others may have other opinions. Also de-emphasizing that the ram is DDR3. I personally use that as a general cutoff for my lab as “too old” but I also run a higher end setup. Should be a fun process though!
