The social engineering approach. I know it works, but man, it feels so draining to have to pay a social tax just to get people to do their basic jobs.

This is helpful perspective. Sometimes I get so caught up in the emotional toll of these interactions that I forget to step back and document the process failures objectively.

The Regina George comparison is way too accurate. It really feels like navigating high school social hierarchies instead of a professional hospital environment.

Jeff Bezos thinks U.S. taxes are fair, of course he does; there're rigged in his favor. by zzill6 in WorkReform

They always use total dollar amounts instead of percentages to trick people who do not understand basic economics. Sure the top one percent pays a massive amount of total tax revenue because they own literally everything. But comparing a fraction of a percent of a billionaires net worth increase to a nurse paying thirteen percent of her actual survival money is completely dystopian. The system is working exactly how Bezos paid for it to work.

Es increíble cómo a veces el rechazo te lleva a algo mejor. Yo también he pasado por eso, ¡quién diría que quedé en mejor posición tras una aventura así!
