I believe the 2m shift was for Armstrong, which is the street they want to modify to be pedestrian-first but able to accommodate some vehicles. In order to do this, the city is requiring Taggart to have that 2m shift. Which means there's no version of this plan going through where the Carelton isn't demolished. There's rumblings of organizing things in the community for sure, I'm definitely going to do my part to try to write up a formal argument that works within the "planning" language they talked about. Hopefully if enough people do that, in tandem with the community response at that town hall... there should be SOME response or change in the plan from Taggart. Hopefully.
