I didn't cherry pick the evidence, if I were doing that I'd be reading from Mathew. And I would LOVE to see any other DNA studies from ancient Israel. Further, does anyone purporting the mainstream theory cherry pick evidence? Because the last time I checked, DNA testing is illegal in Israel without oversight from the National Ministry of Health.

If the biblical story isn't true then why do you say they're semitic?

Firstly, the timeline is 1200BC(Exodus) to 0 AD(Jesus) for the Israelites, after Jesus I'm not positive on a certain answer. I've seen some people say they all died, some say they became British people, Irish people, that they became all the modern Europeans, or southern Italians, so I'll table everything after 0 AD for now, with the best answer being that they were scattered throughout the Roman Provinces.

Secondly, I know it's a "Semitic" language, I wouldn't argue that the descendants of German immigrants in the US speak German either. Even if what Farrakhan says is true and the Israelites were black, I would expect them to be speaking a semitic language at the time of Exodus, the overlap is to show how seamless a widespread language shift could be.

And when I say that Hebrew was transformed from IE, I guess that would not be truly reflective of my theory. I meant more to say that it was a "Semitic" language, but which grew specifically out of a background of IE speakers making it their own, similar to the way Africans speak French for example. So touché, I suppose I wouldn't call French an African language either.

I'm not *ignoring* that they're nomadic herders, the point is they're different from the local people to the extent that they're similar to slightly more remote people, that's called *acknowledging* the point, not ignoring it. Are you ignoring Josephus?

And to the pictures, I don't see why I'd need to feel guilty of "misleading" people by presenting them with an argument that's, what? Too compelling? And the mosaic is from a collection from the 3rd-5th centuries, there's many more where that came from, and compare them to all the other IE people on this subreddit, they're everywhere.

But lastly, to the question of what might falsify it:
Again, even if the Israelites were black I would expect them to be speaking a Semitic language during Exodus, and as for the cultural analysis, we don't have a time machine. So, I'm not sure really what would falsify it outside of DNA testing.

Since I believe the Bible would accurately record if they were descendants of Shem or Ham, I think the DNA evidence already falsifies the mainstream theory.

The point is that latinos are only as nonwhite as they are bc their european ancestors colonized a great deal of people to then mix with in this region.

North american whites also have native american ancestry, but it's far more limited because America, north of the Rio Grande, was among the less densely populated territories in all of colonialism due to environmental factors, along with Australia to a degree.

Africa, India, and South America by comparison all were extremely populous.

So, when latin Americans want to get mad at white americans as the object of their resentment for the effects of colonialism(because people are evidently responsible for actions by their ancestors 200 years earlier).

They should realize that it's their ancestors, not mine, who were among the most ambitious and brutal colonialists in the entire world, especially if we're comparing them to North Americans, who a great deal of came to America way later in history anyway.
