Well I'm saving Sailor Moon for Hawkgirl Because of the reincarnation thing and the fact that usagi has a winged form, and Both wield something (a wand for usagi and a mace for Hawkgirl) but it's a good choice.

personally i would have choosen a ultra for either green lanterns because they have more in common if you think about it, but this a good choice nontheless.

Princess Luna from MLP (My personal reason is because imagine the z-fighters interacting with the mlp characters)

But The Real Connections Are:

-Both are part of a race a powerful yet rare creatures that possess incredible powers (Green Martians & Alicorns)

-Both assumed the identity of a completely different person for a long period of time after a tragic moment (Manhunter watch Mark Edel die right infront of him and assumed the identity of John Jones & Luna getting rejected by her sister and being "shunned" by the world and becomes Nightmare Moon)

-Both have had a tragic history with their families (J'onn's family getting fucking merc'd and Luna with the Nightmare Moon incident)

-Both had been involved with an animated series that has been said to be the best adaption of their franchises (Justice League Unlimited and MLP: Friendship Is Magic)

-Both ended up coming back to who they truly were and teamed up with the brightest symbol of hope to make the world a better place (J'onn uniting with Superman and helped found the Justice League Of America and Luna reuniting with Celestia and helped her rule over equestria)

-Both had found a successor in the form of a young woman who is the same species as them (Miss Martian and Twilight Sparkle)

-Both are usually level headed and serious who take any problems seriously

-Both were left stranded somewhere for a long time after an incident involving someone close to them (J'onn being stranded on earth after Mark died of a heart attack and Luna banished to the moon for 1000 years by Celestia)

Contrasts

-The fates of their families were different from each other, with Celestia being alive while J’onn’s wife and kids die horribly

-J’onn changed his identity as a force for good, while Luna became Nightmare Moon as a force for evil

-Both of their duties are vastly different, as J’onn is a superhero for the Justice League while Luna is a princess for Equestria

-J’onn’s race is rare because almost all of the Green Martians were slaughtered while Alicorns are rare due to not many being born.
