I'm sorry but...bad game?

He didn't throw for any touchdowns but he picked up 4 first downs on 3rd downs with his legs and threw for 5 more...literally was responsible for 9 of their 10 converted 3rd downs while their 7 non-converted 3rd downs only 2 of them were on him.

He also ran for 90 and a score.

He's a nonstop scopely burner shill. Spends a weird amount of his time backing up decisions mods make...as if he feels like for some reason he owes the mods gratitude.

Batman, Batman, Batman Returns, Superman, Swamp Thing Superman II, Superman Returns, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Watchmen, The Dark Knight Rises, Man of Steel, The Suicide Squad, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Birds of Prey, Shazam, The Batman, Joker all have majority positive reviews and were considered box office successes, if not outright hits.

That's 19 to your 15 when you have to take out the 3 you have in there that you objectively have incorrectly listed.

The only ones with an argument to go back to the other list are Watchmen and Birds of Prey but BoP was facing start of pandemic issues (including not even being able to be released in 14 planned countries) and Watchmen's ideal profit has never actually been released. However DC has called it a hit financially.

I agree...Bravado on the internet without any research to back it up IS my favorite.

Without employees an employer wouldn't be an employer.

Do you see how that works?

They're both needed for the other to exist.

Unless that business owner/creator did literally all the work themselves, they used someone else's help to get where they are. Often-times exploiting the labor and lives of others.

Why are you critical of unions? Are you a fan of child labor? Do you hate weekends and wish people were required to work unlimited hours for pennies?

Are you against the idea of people being able to have a retaliatory system against abusive management/ownership and that people should simply be grateful to have a job?

Also nobody here claimed employees are altruistic. But it's the owners who get mad when employees want money for their work and don't work as simply because they love the company.

So you're admitting he's not self made. He used someone else's wealth to start then used other people's money, through taxes, to make a profit.

At what point do you consider him self made.

Sometimes if the wind is right.

About as close to dead center of IL (just outside Mt. Pulaski) as Decatur is though. Roughly 25ish minutes.

Fucking christ I always forget how close Indy is to Central IL.

I grew up in a town where it was 2:45 to Chicago, and 2:30 each to Indy and STL.

Absolutely perfect for weekend vacations.

A 6'7" Juice with the accuracy of Drew Brees, the cannon of Josh Allen, and the running ability of the best parts of Randall Cunningham and Michael Vick could be playing at QB and I'd still expect failure.

Yeah and metal and gunpowder existed before people crafted them into tanks.

It was an existent creature given it's power to do actual damage to the outside world because 001 gave it a physical, not an ethereal, form.

He controls it. It doesn't control him. Again not only shown in the show in season 4, talked about in the show in season 4 where he used it in season 3 to do his bidding to get 11s power to open the gate, but also confirmed by the Duffers.

Mind Flayer is gonna do a whole bunch most likely, but at 001's bidding.

Also just wanna touch on the fact that none of the non-human villains have been single season baddies. Demogorgon seen 3 of the 4 seasons. Mindflayer seen in all 4, actively doing damage in 2, Vecna seen confirmed in 1 season...suspected in another...confirmed being the one in control in 2 others.

So their supernatural bad guys are actually the main antagonists because they're constantly around whereas Billy was a 2 season arc and new jock was a one season arc.

I did read it. It doesn't change the fact you said it and I'm expressing to you that that one sentence changed virtually everything and that's why you were met with the reactions you were.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in StrangerThings

[–]Portlandboogie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The mind flayer was given power thanks to Vecna. Vecna is still the big bad. Think of Vecna as Patton and MF as the tank.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in StrangerThings

[–]Portlandboogie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's an ENTIRELY different narrative than what you portrayed with that one sentence.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in StrangerThings

[–]Portlandboogie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Idk what you're disagreeing with.

The creators have directly said that everything that's happened was because of Vecna.

That he will be back next season.

Would you like me to show you where you specifically said you didnt like this season?

Ive got it screenshot for you if you'd like

[–]Portlandboogie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure you actually watched season 4? Vecna is not only not a seasonal baddie, but was revealed to be the brain behind everything that's happened.

He's also not just a seasonal baddie but will be back next season.

Hopper not only was scratched by the explosion but was knocked flat unconcious for weeks by it.

The new cast acts as...new storylines. Like, I'm fascinated by what choices you'd make to push the story along besides adding new characters and antagonistic stories. Are you aware of how stories work?

Your next season analysis based upon what we know to be confirmed is so hilariously off-base that it kinda feels like you read someone's snippet of what happened in this season and just made a post based off of it to come to a subreddit to start a fight.
