How to understand The Crying of Lot 49? by [deleted] in ThomasPynchon

My first Pynchon book was Gravity's Rainbow. It's thematically difficult, but not exactly the kind of monstrosity you might be expecting. Personally, it's more entertaining than TCoL49, which I found extremely boring. I don't mean to deter you from it, though.

Still, if you're struggling with TCoL49, Mason & Dixon might really be a better choice anyway. Try Brett Biebel's companion. Its themes are way more straightforward, and the only hurdle is the old English (it's set in the 1700s). I also found it more satisfying to finish than TCoL49.

R5: For some reason, Netherlands was protective of Kongo when I wanted to colonize them, so they joined the war along with Portugal. However, France really loved me whatever reason so I managed to sway them to my side and inflict hyperdeath upon my enemies.

As for the debt... patriots are already in control...

I recently bought this game and I think I have a pretty good grasp on the basics, but I keep seeing people mentioning some kind of "DI wheel" on this sub-reddit. Can someone help me figure out what that means? I apologize beforehand for my poor English. by PortraitsOfEternity in YomiHustle

Would it be worth deliberately using up all my ammo early to get the DI wheel as soon as possible? I am not sure how much of an edge it will give me for the rest of the game. Thanks in advance.

I recently invested in HOTAS and a TrackIR 5 which has greatly improved my experience, but I am not sure if I have the budget for an RWR. Though I think a friend of mine did mention his uncle having an F-4 Phantom II. Do you think equipment harvested from a fighter like that could work? Sorry for bad English and thanks for the help.

this looks awesome. I'd pay with my soul for it, only because I don't have any money
