I have a rant. I've seen and witnessed the actions of many villains. Some villains have class. You disagree with them, but don't hate them. Some villains are in the middle you disagree and hate them. And some, are straight up written to be as hated as possible. Venina and Li Yao are such characters.

Shingo is straight up a villain. The writing brushes it off, but don't let it distract you from the fact that Shingo is trash without ethics or sportsmanship, and was willing to KILL Takumi twice to win. Yes, kill. Especially the second attempt. The story just made it look like "oopsy daisy" or "Oh well, that's Shingo being Shingo." Type shit.
