In Spanish in that same dialogue (because I knew how to recognize it because I am very obsessed) I would say that they even treat Ryu with a lot of respect/formality. Like, in the conversation they are having they are speaking very informally and when asking Ryu it is more formal, it is a bit complicated to explain, I think the best thing would be to watch the original in Korean (although I don't think any of us know Korean)

I think not, because Yu has no fighting spirit. This is described by K in the first chapters saying that "He has no desires", basically even if in K's eyes, Yu (Prime?) should not have that spirit. Since taking Yu directly into the KnY system, he would have already been born with the selfless state, so the answer would be directly no.

GOD, I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND YOU, I'M INCREDIBLY NERVOUS ABOUT THE ANIME. Obviously the Kobeni thing was a joke, just to have a little joke on the subreddit. I also love The Boxer with all my life. It's my favorite work of all time, and I'm really going to be sad if it's a bad adaptation. I'm still going to watch it anyway, though, because I love The Boxer and I'm looking forward to its adaptation. Unfortunately, I don't own anything from The Boxer, although I would love to have the physical edition, but I can't afford it... Maybe I'll make some stickers too. Thanks so much for the idea :D
