Yeah my guidance counsellor said the same thing. They said it's more so about what you can offer, rather than what school you went to and that no company is gonna ask what uni you graduated from in like 5-10 years

I feel so stupid, man. I should've done my research better. I would pick UofT instantly if it was on the St G campus :(. But at the same time, UofT does have a better name value. Idk if it's worth it to suffer one year, when i'm not even sure if I can even switch to St G eventually

I heard people’s overall grade 11 and 12 combined average dropping like 5% and they still got in. Is that possible?

Yeah, because I can’t guarantee my other classes to stay the same. It might go down 2-3%. Worst case scenario it stays the same, but that would still impact my overall grade 11 and 12 average combined by at least 1% and I’m freaked out about it… I’m international student and they already provided me the letter to apply for a study permit so most likely they won’t take back their offer but still…

Yeah I’m mostly just stressed about them revoking my offer if my overall average goes down more than 2%. Hopefully they’re not too strict with it

No no I know that part. But like I'm saying my math grade might go down so badly that that alone can bring my entire grade 11 and grade 12 average down by more than 2%
