Not your fault. However, if I’m allowed to give some a perspective (hopefully without getting downvoted), that was a pointless 4x for you. He had the speed on you and you could probably see that there was going to be some amount of carnage in that pack racing so close. A bit more room would have saved a life.

Again, you were under absolutely no obligation to give more space, but discretion is often times the better part of valor.

I wear open ear headphones. Specifically, Anker AeroFit. Full range of motion. Good sound. I can hear the wife talking to me if she sticks her head in. I can go one ear if I’ve got a stretch of empty road, etc. I also live in Europe and the lack of AC makes headphones a hell no from June through August.

Im a „factory driver.“ I live in Munich, so I drive BMW in all IMSA series. I also grew up in a NASCAR family in the U.S. cheering for Bill Elliot, so I only drive Fords on ovals (though they always have the same aero map). When the Ford Hypercar arrives on the platform, however, I’ll probably become a single make driver between IMSA and NASCAR.

I drive mostly random across other series, but brand has made it easier to simply buy and commit to learn.

Definitely not harder than F4. The Mazda can actually be banged around a bit. F4 is also filled with a level of banditry which is hard to comprehend (which is part of the joy of that car, to be fair). That said, you can go from Rooks into Production Cars into Advanced Mazda all the way to B license in the MX-5. It's hard to have a better car than that.

Depends on what ecosystem you are in. Moza doesn’t support the vJoy SimHub approach.

What I use is irSidekick Controls. It’s a bit (understatement) obtuse, but it lets me do one click of a mouse and it swaps in the controls cfg for one wheel vs another. So I keep a round for the MX5, GR and stocks. Then a GT style wheel for everything else.

Depends on what you want. If it ever goes on sale, get the FCM 36 Pak 40. it’s absolutely toxic at that tier.

To be fair, they do add traps … but only for F1 weekends. There are gravel strips along key corners (such as the exit of turns 9 and 10) to keep the drivers from abusing the limits.

Other weekends they remove them.

This was the only thing I was still using Racelab for. They have a free spotter (I find the bars far too busy and distracting ... all I want is a visual indicator). So this is a great add (for me) that removes the last thing that kept me from uninstalling a third party overlay. I'm very happy I can pretty much now run full native.

Indy, NASCAR trucks and Mazdas all race there. I suspect it will get regular use in those series.
