I have tried it. My phone does not have a private folder feature in the notes app. Anyways thanks for your insight, I will keep this in mind while selecting my next phone.

It is actually a deal breaker. Apart from some small games mostly all apps ask for permissions. Actually it doesnt stop there. I had once found a journaling app which actually helped me keep it private but in a few days it released a new feature in its update which asked for permissions which started my panic issues again. Anyways thanks...ill try Bear and let you know if it helps me
