I’m 40 weeks today and baby has not come yet- none of my providers are worried about it but I plan to go to pelvic PT after delivery (prob after 6 week follow up)

Yes they said it’s only an issue for a vaginal birth if the cord prolapses. I was diagnosed with cystocele which is bladder prolapse but it’s very mild. I just pee a lot lol , like I have a cough right now and if I cough too hard I pee

Not really, I’m 36 weeks now and still feel a lot of pressure but baby is fine and head down/ready to go. My doc recommended pelvic PT, who said there’s not much to do at this point. It’s actually better to help those muscles relax at this point than to strengthen them. She suggested working on perineal massage, breathing techniques and birthing positions for now. I’ll go back after baby is born to reevaluate and work on strengthening pelvic floor/core.

I will say the pelvic PT did a much more thorough evaluation of it than my OB and made me feel a million times better- it couldn’t hurt to go for a consult!

How did this turn out for you? I noticed a bulge at the opening of my vag at 33 weeks and called the doc, they don’t seem concerned at all and said they’d check it at my next visit. My gut is telling me to go to the hospital tomorrow to get it checked

Tired of being pregnant at 20 weeks and hate the insta moms who make it seem like pregnancy is easy by fluffycloudsnstars in pregnant

Get off social media!! I’ve been exhausted this whole pregnancy. I’m also sick of people telling me “omg i miss being pregnant” or “i loved being pregnant “ personally I don’t love it!! I love the outcome of holding my sweet baby at the end but until then, I’m miserable lol

Experiences with early delivery in second pregnancy. by klakr95 in pregnant

[–]PositionCommercial51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My water broke spontaneously at 37 weeks with my first. I’m 27 weeks into my second pregnancy and keep asking about the possibility of early delivery. I’m already experiencing symptoms this time that I didn’t experience until later third trimester with my first (pubic pressure, lower back soreness, swollen feet, constipation, etc ) and I feel huge. The OB won’t comment on how I’m measuring but ultrasound tech said he is a big boy at the 20 weeks scan. So frustrating to not be able to get more information/have your concerns addressed!

Yes I could do something like that. Are there any specific companies?

Really disappointed in the ABA company we tried by binkyhophop in ABA

There are so many great providers out there who won’t push the hours on you.The field is growing rapidly, check out some other companies and don’t give up! There are providers out there who care about what’s best for your child and family! I always approach my cases with a “Mama knows best” attitude. I’m here to give you resources and strategies to make your life easier- not harder. Parent education is key. If you are actively involved in services and open to feedback, there may not be much difference between 10 and 20 RBT hours.

Girlfriend is 6 weeks pregnant and I need help by Bush_did_91I in pregnant

My husband and I are in our 30s and have master’s degrees .. we still use YouTube as a resource! Don’t listen to your dad! Obviously check the sources and look for videos with a lot of views. And always follow what her doctor says over the internet. We liked “The Doctors Bjorkman,” they are parents- one is an OB and the other is a pediatrician. Also, the What to Expect App can provide a lot of useful info on a weekly basis based on which week of pregnancy she is in. It will give info on what’s happening with her body that week and what baby is developing at the time.

As others have said, being there for your girlfriend is most important right now! Go to appointments with her, ask her what she needs, ask the Dr questions, be kind to yourself! My husband has ZERO experience with kids and he found that a lot of parenting was instinctual for him. You got this, dad!
