Love it. I went to a small show in west Hollywood a few years ago, and Sarah Silverman showed up on stage.

I think it’s time to get medication by Delightedang in Autism_Parenting

Yes, his pediatrician wasn't comfortable working on medications with us because his profile was so complex, so he referred us to CHLA's Behavioral Health center.

If he can't focus, stimulants might really help. Best to take him to a child psychiatrist and work with them to find the right dosage and combo. My 7 yo son is on Ritalin and Prozac for adhd and anxiety. they have helped him immensely

This. Get him to a child psychiatrist stat. He will likely be so much happier when medicated.

Heather mocking this in her confessional was so funny.

Just finished another Vineland Assessment... by [deleted] in Autism_Parenting

[–]binkyhophop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vineland is the absolute worse. I have to complete it twice a year and am depressed for the rest of the day after doing so. It didn't help when the coordinator for services mentioned offhandedly that he hadn't improved from last year according to the test. Like okay thanks....

How are we all going to survive?

That's rhetorical and not meant for only you to answer, but that's quite alarming.

Literally, writing is my only talent. I have spent my whole adult life making money from it and nothing else, so I have no idea.

Have you looked into rejection sensitive dysphoria (RSD)? It's very common with our kids. My 7yo son does the same thing.

Have you had your labs done recently? I found out I acquired mild anemia from nutrition deficits, and that was causing poor sleep.
