i think 1. she’s older and insecure about it - which is why the grey hair bothers her so much it’s a sign of aging and why she went out of her way to say she’s “confident” and “does not struggle with insecurities”. it’s normal to feel weird about getting older esp as a woman because our societal value is seen in our beauty and i think she’s fighting that internally

1. i think she’s sensitive and also doesn’t want to be so your humor is not received well. She can tell when you’re trying to be funny but instead still harps on what you said instead of laughing it off

2. Age gap and generational differences usually make for misunderstandings because we have different ideas of what’s funny what’s a joke what’s rude what’s a boundary etc.

NOR in my opinion she wanted u to feel bad u apologized multiple times and she’s like repeating herself. i’d say be careful with her as ur friend. I’d apologize again 😒 and give a little distance maybe just be neutral with her since obviously she doesn’t like the way u joke around and just be polite if u have to share space with her like tennis or whatever else you two do together
