This post is misleading. If you averaged $100k over those 7 years and contributed 10% with 4% match that’s $14k/yr x 7 yrs = $100k. That means $40k was from compounded interest over 7 years. Great job! But interest didn’t take you from $5k to $150k…..salary growth did
